Cancellation & Refunds

At Solid Finish Coatings, we understand that schedules can change, and we strive to be flexible. However, cancellations impact our scheduling, material procurement, and business operations. To ensure fairness, we have established the following cancellation and refund policy.

1. Consultation Cancellations

  • Consultations are free but must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice.

2. Project Cancellations (Before Materials Are Ordered)

  • Customers may cancel their project up to 7 days before the scheduled start date for a full refund of any deposit.

  • Cancellations made within 7 days of the project start date will incur a 25% cancellation fee (excluding materials).

3. Project Cancellations (After Materials Are Ordered)

  • Once materials have been ordered or custom mixed, they become non-refundable.

  • The customer is responsible for 100% of material costs, which will be deducted from any applicable refund.

4. Project Cancellations (Within 7 Days of Start Date)

  • If a project is canceled within 7 days of the scheduled start date, the following applies:

    • 25% of the total project cost (excluding materials) will be retained as a cancellation fee.

    • The customer is still responsible for 100% of material costs.

  • If canceled within 48 hours of the project start date, a 50% cancellation fee will apply, plus 100% of material costs.

5. Project Cancellations (After Work Has Started)

  • Once work has begun, the customer is responsible for 100% of the total project cost (labor + materials).

  • No refunds will be issued after the project has started.

6. Rescheduling Policy

  • Customers may request to reschedule their project up to 7 days in advance without penalty.

  • Rescheduling requests made within 7 days of the project start date may be subject to a $250 rescheduling fee.

  • Rescheduling is subject to availability, and we will do our best to accommodate requests.

7. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.

  • Any material-related deductions or cancellation fees will be reflected in the final refund amount.
